Q. What type of batteries are used?
A. The Handheld uses 2 AAA batteries (not included). Each Tag uses one CR 2032. battery (included)

Q. How long will the batteries last?
A. Battery life will depend on use. The battery in the handheld over normal use should last over a year. The battery in the tag are specified at approximately 400 days.

Q. How can I save Battery usage?
A. The EZ-Finder is set to turn itself off after 2 minutes of non use. When the batteries in the EZ-Finder are low the display will begin to fade. The batteries in the tag will only be consumed if the tag switch is turned on. If the tag is not being used keep the tag switch on to the OFF position to extend battery life. The tag battery has a low battery warning feature whereby the tag will beep every 5 minutes when the battery is losing power. When this appears plan to replace the EZ-Find!® tag with a new one. If no more tags are available from the starter kit, additional tags can be purchased in sets of 2 separately.

A. The EZ-Find® system includes One EZ-Finder transmitter, 4 EZ-Find!® tags, 4 Key ring loops, 4 Adhesive strips, a pin, Tag Number labels and User Guide.
